Bob Gilreath and his wife Liz celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary in Keweenaw style. They spent a few days around the Harbor exploring with friends on their 4 wheelers. Checking out what Bob called the Montreal Meadows, along with the Montreal River and a great looking fishing hole near Mandan.

Sure is nice to see all the green again, even though it has brought with it, a multitude of mosquitoes. I can’t think of a better place to celebrate your anniversary, than touring around up near the tip of the Keweenaw. Taking a break from your day to day life and only having to drive 40 miles or so to reach paradise…it doesn't get much better than that!

This really makes me think about renting a 4 wheeler
on my next trip and heading back out to High Rock
Bay, Keystone Bay and parts unknown. Kind of pricey
but at my age I think that's the only way I will
ever return to those places of my youth.
