I sure don’t know what Linda Schneller puts in her hummingbird feeders, but look at the number of birds there feeding all at the same time. I count eight of them in the photos she shared here today, but Linda informed me that there were as many as ten at once. Since her feeder doesn’t have that many holes, though, the other two didn’t hang around. She also told me that she has two feeders out and is planning on hanging a third one.
I really don’t know how she does it, because if we get two hummingbirds at the feeder at the same time, they fight each other off and won’t share. She either has a secret nectar recipe or maybe Linda is a hummingbird whisperer!

These are excellent pictures of Hummingbirds, I can't get pictures of them, or of the Orioles that will drink Hummingbird nectar I set out.

We always end up with one aggressive one who takes over every feeder in the yard. He (?) burns up all his energy chasing all others away.

Interesting pix...looks like the watering hole at the Hummer Night Club.

I think I could see the liquid level go down a bit between the first and third photo.

Why do humming birds hum? Because they don't know the words. (lol)

Great pictures. We have the same problem as Janie. We can never get more than one there because of the aggressiveness. Would love to see something like this!
