The 'Indian' carving (2005) looks like it was done by a fellow named Peter Toth. We met him in Bismarck/Mandan, ND in the 1980s where he was carving a huge Indian head out of a tree trunk. He was travelling around the country doing carvings in many cities. Beautiful work!

Checked Pasty archives and learned that I was right about Peter Toth's carving.
I wonder if he completed his 'mission' to carve an Indian in every state?
