May has come and gone already and that means it is time to pause and recall those that have passed on before us, in our long-standing Pasty Cam tradition. Today we remember:

Hard to believe it's the end of May today. I,
naturally, am remembering my dad who's been gone for
5 1/2 years now. He would have been 87 yesterday.

Remembering my grandmother, Eva Durocher, who passed
away in the month of May in 1972. She and I always
had such a great time together. Also remembering my
aunt Dorothy, who passed away in the month of May.
She was always a great aunt to me and my brother!

I'm sorry, but I missed the first name on that list
of Mary's. Lu, was the sister-in-law to a very good
friend of mine. We're remembering her today, too,
and praying for her family. It will be a rough time
for them.

My thoughts are with a long time friend from High School days, Jeff, on the passing of his dad, Robert, who passed on just last night.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew “The Chief” Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto.
We love and miss you all so much.

Remembering my sweet husband and lifelong friend, Frank, who left us on May 7th, 2011. We would have celebrated our 57th anniversary the following June 5th. Thank You, God, for the sweet memories!

It's been exactly one year since my dear wife,
Kellie passed away.

I also remember and thank the 11 year old boy from
Iowa named Patrick and his family who gave Kellie
the wonderful gift of organ transplantation. Kellie
was given an extra 17 years, enough time to
participate and watch our son grow into a young man.

In loving memory of my mother Lillian, who passed away on
May 1, 2011 at Angela Hospice.
