Getting to the tip of the Keweenaw, namely Copper Harbor, is a bit of a ride when you have a car full of kids along, so it's always a good thing to stop at the new playground there and let them blow off some pent up energy. That's exactly what Judy Byykkonen and grandkids did when they made their trek to check out the falls up that way recently.
The kids enjoyed hanging from the monkey bars, twisted into all sorts of pretzel like shapes, along with riding on bears…Oh My! One of Judy's grandsons, popped his head out of the cedar bushes there, too, which just goes to show you that even the bushes around the playground can be fun to play in.
That last photo, is one of the colorful decorations embedded in the play area equipment. To me, it looks like a marble and if you look real close, you can see a reflection inverted there, too. What a neat way to add some fun color to the grounds. Nice job on the new play area!

After the Winter we had, Shirley, I wouldn't mind if it didn't start snowing again until Christmas Eve.
