Good Morning. I love the stone work photos! Deb, I seem to remember reading somewhere a while back that the spring sledding there was on borrowed cafeteria trays? (I am not sure they even use the same kind of trays today.)

I 'like' Jon's stonewalls. "Good fences make good neighbors.";)

What a beautiful day in the UP today. Temps only got up to the high 40s but the sun felt good in Ontonagon. Still having problems with pipes freezing. They are at the worst when the thaw begins. The frost line has been reported at nine feet in some places. I have seen Robins pecking at the ground, Geese flying in the air, Seagulls looking for water, Sandhill Cranes, looking for the bare earth. Also saw the deer feeding in Silver City....some kind person has put hay out for them. God bless them. The "Chippies" are also out and about and saw one poor little guy dead on the road. What a way to wake up to spring. Still too much snow for the deer to come and grab the hay we put down for them. The hard maples are now being tapped for the "gold" maple syrup. Put the screens on the windows today and that southwest breeze feels so good. Didn't mean to bore you...just excited about spring.
