Capt. Paul, I wonder if you can shed any light on the Geology of the snowbank shot. lol

Good Morning you all. I love the colored rocks (with the treasure stuck in one, lol) and the big roar. I bet there will be lots of big roars UP there when all that snow melts!

For those who are interested, the US Steel plant in Gary, Indiana had to shut down over the weekend because their iron ore was still stuck in the ice on the Great Lakes. It was taking two weeks for two freighters full of iron ore plus two ice breakers to make the trip across the Great Lakes, a trip that normally only takes three days. If you are interested in more, check this out:
I'll bet there are 'lots of big roars' around that factory too, Marianne. I have a feeling this is one winter no one will soon forget.

Marianne--That story made the ABC evening news last night. That's really proof of how interconnected our lives are. Thanks for the link.

Wabbit...I believe that is the northern end of the Snowbankus-plowtruckus formation that formed some 200,000,000 years ago. How'd I do, Capt? :-)

Marianne/kosk:
I'm thinking of applying for a job at the Friend's Psychic Network. . .
Marianne: It's not because of the ice or brutal winter that they have run out of pellets; it's because they don't run enough boats during the season to stockpile enough pellets to last thru the down time. It's all about economics and how to get by with less boats, less employees.
