Great day to have Cataract eye surgery at high noon! Man, I'm getting old,...but it will be nice to get rid of my glasses and contacts! I understand I'll only have to have reading glasses. Hope to SEE this all better perhaps tomorrow! :=))

Good Morning. Best Wishes on your cataract surgery today, Uncle Chuck. Are you have both eyes done? Wishing you a speedy & full recovery!

Wishing you all the best today, Uncle Chuck. It will make a big difference....my husband had both his eyes done (at different times) and he was able to lay his glasses aside....except for reading, as you said.

My favorite is the shot of the Old Country Haus. I used to love going there. The bar and chain link made out of a log. Cozy fireplace. Great salad bar and great food. Miss both Fritz and Maiken.

Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex), that was classic!
Best of luck to you Uncle Chuck, you will finally see clearly now.....wish I could say "now that the snow is gone".
Getting stocked up, might get up to 16 inches of snow. It's starting up tomorrow evening and going to last through Friday.
Heikki Lunta, please get dance lessons and learn to do the Hula.
Now I wish I would have left the Christmas decorations up till Easter....like the good old Yoopers do.

Thanks everyone, I think it went well. Follow up visit tomorrow and hopefully scheduling for the right eye soon. Can't wait to see the Yoop clearly, I'm sure it will be even more beautiful than ever! Time to get some rest, good night.

Uncle Chuck: Do colours seem brighter to you since you've had the surgery? The doctor who did my surgery here in Toronto was wearing a medical coat that looked like it could have been a costume in "Joseph and the Dream Coat." I saw more pink than usual and asked the doctor about it. He said I saw pink because I was an optimist. I think he was a bit of a joker. Glad your surgery went well.
