It seems like I was just typing up the notes for the end of March memorial page and now it's already the end of April. Time sure does have a way of moving quickly. As is our long standing tradition, we pause on this last day of the month to remember and hold in honor, our friends and relatives that have gone on before us. We recall:

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew “The Chief” Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto.
We love and miss you all so much.

Remembering my Dad, George Kentala. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I'll be UP this summer to sit and have a beer with you. Miss you Dad.

Remembering Cindy's dad, who passed away after a
very short battle with cancer. Thinking about you,

Also Scott Huhta, who is my cousin's brother-in-law.
I didn't know him, but they miss him very much.

Prayers for everybody who lost a friend or a family
member this month.

Remembering my mother-in-law, Mamie, who left us 10 years ago this month.
Also remembering all loved ones, including my husband Frank, who left us way too early.

Remembering my awesome Daddy. His birthday was April 30. He passed away on Feb 14, 1985, when my oldest son was just 5 months old, and my two younger sons were just dreams. He was a terrific Dad, and he would have made a terrific Grandpa for my three sons. I miss you, Daddy!

Thinking about my aunt, Faye Perttunen Garlow, and uncle (Jerry Perttunen) who both passed away in 2013. Also remembering my grandfather, Allie Perttunen, who died on April 1, 1980. And always, every day, remembering my grandmother, Viena Peterson Perttunen, who died on November 30, 1997.

Remembering my cousin Ron Parkki. We'll be UP in June to see you off, Ronnie!

My Dad, Bill Wiita of Bootjack passed away on April 16, 2014
at his home and I thought how appropriate that the cam note
pic of the day April 30 was a Bootjack sunset, also being the
same day they honored his name in rememberance. I love you
Dad and miss you every single day. A thanks to Pasty.com for
