Wednesday and Thursday, parts of the U.P. were blanketed in snow once again. The amounts varied, depending on where you were, but I know we had 19" here in Lake Linden. Just when the snow banks were getting smaller, it dumps down again.
Over in the Sidnaw area, they had fresh snow, too, but I think it may have brought out an exciting visitor for Kelly Sullivan. She said she had seen moose over on Isle Royale, but never here on the "mainland", until now. Thank goodness she had her camera with her and at the ready. Kelly feels blessed to be living where she can see wildlife amongst such beauty, like most of us living UP here do. It kind of softens the shock of getting bombarded with double digit inches of snow in mid April.
FOOTNOTE: Yesterday's shots, snapped by Danielle Adams, of the Coast Guard Cutters docked in Marquette were pretty interesting. If you missed them, just click here: Friday, Apr. 18th, to take a look at them!

That's only happened once for me. I was lucky to have a bonus because it was a mom and her calf. Great photos, Kelly! How awesome in the snow. You really are truly blessed to live in such an amazing place.

Thanks for the 'view', Kelly. The only moose I've ever seen were in the Yellowstone area of WY.
