Today the Soo Locks open ~ wonder if there'll be any traffic? Still looks pretty iced.

Hi Shirley and everyone. On the Soo Locks: I read this weekend (probably in the Detroit Free Press) that shipping may not begin in earnest for another month - it just is not worth potential damage to the boats from all of the ice, so even though the locks are open, they may not see as much traffic as usual for this time of the year.
