Good morning, Steve. "When March comes in like a lion, it'll go out like a lamb." We can only hope.

Hi all - As you may have noticed today is Pasty Cam's birthday, and it presents some technical challenges to update the slideshow with all 16 previous years' pictures. As soon as I get it figured out, you'll see it here.
Hard to believe Alex Voelker is 16 today. His baby photo was the inspiration to start a daily "blog", although the word had not yet been invented in 1998 :o)

Good morning, everyone! Not only is it Pasty Cam's birthday, but it's also March 1, officially known as Shirley Waggoner Appreciation Day. Hard to believe the earth has taken a full lap since the last time we did this (maybe got stuck in the winter part of the orbit?)
At any rate, here's to Shirley once again. Here's to celebrating all the good things she brings to this community!

I thought every day was Shirley Waggoner Appreciation Day!
Hope you don't get smacked with the storm on your day, Shirley!
Love Joyce's kitty, and it's so nice to see George's photo ~ I still miss his captivating writings. God rest his soul.

I think you're loved, Shirley :-)
I can't see the slideshow. Hope it's not on my end. The Cam Notes pictures are the bomb, though!

Shirley, here in Green Bay March came in like a lamb so that means it goes out like a lion? Being Nick's brother I do remember the snow being so high that the telephone wires were within reach when we were on top of the drifts. Today's kids would never go to school under the conditions we experienced in the 1940s.
By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Sunday, March 2, 2014 - 02:53 pm:
Hope so, Tom. That's what I've been told all my long lifetime.;) Even though I was raised in the south (Nashville) we often had big snows in winter and since we didn't ride schoolbuses when I was in grade school, we walked to school in the snow ~ had no excuse to stay home. Just slipped on those snowsuits and boots and away we'd go!
