Emma Stout went ice fishing on Portage Lake with her Dad over the weekend and had the opportunity to snap some beautiful photos with sun coming up for the day. It made for some nice silhouette shots for sure.
Then once the sun was up, she captured one of Dad with a fish on his line and another of him pulling the fish up through the ice. Emma said this is a crappie and she even got out from behind the camera and snapped a "selfie" of her holding the fish.
Looks like both Emma and her Dad had fun and you can't beat quality time between a daughter and her Dad. Our compliments on the catch and the captures!

Good morning. Great photos. I think Emma's fish tail braid is quite appropriate for the outing ;-)

Great photos, thanks Emma and Dad! And my highest compliments to you, Emma. You do at least three winter OUTDOOR sports. The fresh air, sunshine, and exercise will serve you well throughout your life!

Great pictures Emma. You have an eye for scenes that make good pictures. Both you and your Dad are lucky to have such a good fishing partner. And Janie T. That picture in your profile has to be the ugliest one of your 13 horses:)

I agree, Duane.;) Not easy to sit astride either.

Right after that picture was taken the camel got an attitude and we had to bail quickly! Michelle was 2 1/2 and she thought it was so funny, I knew then horses were going to be a piece of cake for her!!
