Good Morning everyone. We are having a short warmup here in mid-Michigan. It is time to remove the 7 inches of snow that we got yesterday, in preparation for the new storm predicted for tomorrow, that is supposed to be a wintery mix of snow, freezing rain, rain, and you name it. I am worried about our porch roof's possibly collapsing tomorrow when it gets heavy wet snow on top of its powdery snow, followed by rain and freezing rain. With luck, maybe a fair amount will melt or evaporate before then. The roof is now 30 years old. It may not be substantial enough for my husband to get up there to clear off the snow, and I am not mobile enough to do it. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that it stays intact! Stay safe and enjoy this warmup before the cold comes back this weekend. :-) Have a good day!

Was going to say 'Good morning', Marianne, but realized it's noon already....where'd the morning go? Oh, the woes of winter!! Our temp hit 50 yesterday and supposed to do the same today. It's sunny right now, but the 'prediction' is for "Spring"(?) thunderstorms to move in tonight and tomorrow. Always something 'in the air'. Hope you get some melting before the next 'round' moves in. Stay safe!

Had our roofs shoveled off three times so far this winter. Have too. The cost was; $80.00 each time for the garage and the house. The trusses on the homes UP here are built tough to hold the snow.
Redridge Dam and Mt Bohemia were two of the places that we spent time at last year. Love both of those pictures, as they bring back so many fond memories of our trips up there in 2013.
