Good morning, everybody. Sure will be happy to see this winter end! Had more snow last night and freezing rain is predicted for tomorrow.:(

Hi Shirley and everyone. To me, snow isn't a huge deal - it is freezing rain that is the real problem. We had snow on Saturday, and the plows came through our subdivision yesterday afternoon, but they have to lift the blades, so they don't get down to the sheet of ice & the big ruts of packed snow. This is what I would call an old-fashioned Michigan winter, for sure! AccuWeather forecast 8 more weeks of cold and snow, before we see signs of spring for the Great Lakes area, sigh.

Good afternoon, ladies! Don't let the cold and snow get to you, go out there and play in it. Take your shotgun out and shoot it. :) One good thing, the sun is getting higher in the sky and I can hear the chickadees singing their spring songs. Only 130 inches of snow UP here. To meet our average, only 70 more inches to go.

Can't 'play' nor 'shoot', Waveaction, my hands are busy with 2 canes.;>

Waveaction: I don't know where you live but here in the Keweenaw we are at about 230-inches or 100-inches ahead of you, I don't know if this means that we win, or lose?

We have 8'6" of snow here on the ground in the Detroit area!.... April fools!...oh wait a minute, it's only February!... wish full thinking. Pitcher's and Catcher's report to Lakeland pretty soon, and the voice's of Dan Dickerson and Jim Price on the radio will be a welcome sound. Especially after the Lion's season! lol
