For once, the weatherlady nailed our forecast. Everyone in the tropics is singing "Ice Ice Baby" this morning as the roads are a mess, most of the schools are closed, and even my office closed (not like I was going in anyway). I look out the window and I see liquid rain falling at a temperature of 27 degrees; that can't be good!!!

Your weather doesn't sound nice, Capt. ~ temp here is minus 1 and there's more snow expected tonight and tomorrow.
Today is a sad day of remembrance ~ lost a longtime Boatnerd/e-mail friend a year ago today.

Hi. The Mackinac Bridge is closed because of adverse weather conditions, including low visibility. They are monitoring conditions at both ends of the bridge, as well as points along the bridge. Have a good weekend! Stay warm!

US 2 was closed both directions for hours today because of a 20-car collision on blowing snow and icy roads.
