Danielle Adams enjoys the many formations the ice can take when winter is whipping Lake Superior around and here today she shares a couple photos she took along the shoreline in Marquette.
Her first shot shows how the ice has been pushed up along the shore, making a small ice mountain. Then when you get a closer look at that frozen mound, you can see that the ice has formed what looks like crystals and the forces of nature have once again sculpted us the perfect natural artwork to enjoy.
