I know Christmas is over, but today's photos from Becky McKay brought to mind for me, the Christmas Waltz, a song sung by various artists, like Frank Sinatra and Karen Carpenter and starts out with the line: Frosted windowpanes….
Becky's frosted windowpanes show us the beauty that nature creates for us each day, something unique and different all the time and we often go about our daily routines not even noticing the details of something so simply beautiful as the frost on the window.
Thank you, Becky, for taking the time to snap these and sharing them with us all, so we can pause in our busy day to enjoy the moment and the beauty it holds.

Hi Though those are beautiful, the first thing I thought of was, "Get some new, better insulated windows!" Though the weather we'be been having would test any system.

Reminds me of the old Finnish song "Jää kukkia" -translation: Ice Flowers. A very pretty song by Al Reko and Oren Tikkanen.
