By Mary Drew at Pasty Central (Mdrew) on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 - 08:15 am:
We not only come to the end of the month today, but also the end of the year 2014. As is our long-standing custom here at the Pasty Cam, we pause from our usual daily routine to feature a beautiful sunset and reflect upon the names of those that have passed on before us. Today we remember:
Ed (EddyFitz) Chaput
Lillie Cole
Ken Kuntz
Claude Miron
Donald Spear
Sylvia Stephens
Servicemen and women who have given their all
Several of the above names have connections that I would like to mention.
First, Ed (EddyFitz) Chaput - He was a regular poster here on the Pasty Cam, with a vast knowledge of the freighters, having worked on the Edmund Fitzgerald as a young man. We will miss his contributions.
Second, Lillie Cole - She is my sister-in-law, Tricia's Mother and a beautiful southern lady she was.
Third, Ken Kuntz - He is my daughter-in-law, Brenda's Dad. One of the finest, kindest and welcoming man I have ever met and boy, oh boy, could he play the piano.
Fourth, Donald Spear - I worked with him in my early years, at Superior National Bank. Don always had a smile and a laugh to share with everyone.
I will personally miss these folks and the way they touched my life.
We here at Pasty Central we extend our deepest sympathy to all those who have lost a friend or loved one and we invite you to add their names to this page.
Special thanks to Joy Ziemnick for the beautiful photo to remember our loved ones with.
Sadly missed along life's way,
Quietly remembered every day…
No longer in our life to share,
But in our hearts, you're always there.
