I liked today's photos the minute I saw them and just kept going back to them and staring off and on, so I finally decided that I was just going to have to share them with the rest of you to enjoy, too. These were snapped by Melody Provost Holmes in the Norway area.
I love the way the snow has accumulated around the trunks of the trees that are stuck in the middle of that cedar swamp. Makes me think of marshmallows, all white and puffy! Either one of these shots could be the scene for a beautiful Christmas season card or wouldn't they make a wonderful picture on the wall?
Even though I often will complain about "too much snow" or "way too cold", there really is a lot to love about winter here UP North, too!

Always liked the cedar swamps. Thanks for the pretty shots of the snow.
Happy Eve of the Eve! Remember the Reason for the Season!
