Judy Byykkonen grabbed a couple photos about a week ago, of the Traprock River, outside of Lake Linden. It was already snowy then, but I'm betting with the lake effect snow and advisories we've been under for the past week here in the Keweenaw, the tree branches are hanging heavier still, right about now.
Judy's last two shots give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Just look at the snow all piled so neatly on her deck railings in the third shot. Overhanging, but still not ready to fall. Then in her last photo, that's a swing frame with various piles of snow accumulated and I think a small table looking like it's covered with a giant marshmallow.
Yes indeed, even though it is a ton of work when it keeps coming like it has, we can still sit back and admire the beauty it also creates.

Wow, Pasty Cam just squeaked in before midnight again. The folks at Pasty Central are probably knee deep in last minute pasty orders, as well as snow.
