A little misread maybe? in 2012 the chickadee was the picture right below this one of a bluebird.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Saturday, November 16, 2013 - 10:33 am:

Good Morning everyone. I don't know what is changed, but yesterday's and today's slide shows have been totally blank for me? I have never had a problem before. Has anyone else run into this issue before?

By D. A. (Midwested) on Saturday, November 16, 2013 - 03:47 pm:

Marianne:

Is there any error message? The slide shows use
Adobe Flash. Something changed. If you are using
the same computer and browser then most likely
your Flash player updated or tried to update and
that created the problem. Right clicking on the
slide show should display the Flash version
installed. I can't post long links so Google the
words "adobe flash player downloads" to take you
to adobe's page to find an update that might fix
things.

Oh, THAT'S what happened, Jim?? When I saw "chickadee", I just chuckled. Now today I see it says "UP bluebird". I'm so confused, lol! Either way, both beautiful birds!

Thank you, Midwested. I have not changed anything on my computer. Ironically, I can see the slideshow today? The only thing that I can think of is that some ads make FlashPlayer overheat my computer, so I might have had to Force Quit it for something else before I tried to view the slideshow. Most things will start FlashPlayer up again, without my touching it, if they require it. From what I have read, FlashPlayer is not considered to be a particularly safe application. Knowing that the slideshow runs in it, I will make sure that FlashPlayer is running in the future when I want to see the slideshow. I would have thought that there would have been some kind of message, but it was just a totally blank window. Other things that require FlashPlayer tell me that it crashed after I ForceQuit it. Thank you for the heads up. :-)
