Good Morning everyone. It's a bit chilly here this morning. I guess I need to add an extra blanket to the bed, lol. Have a good day you all. Keep warm. :-) (Also, sending prayers to the people in the Philippines. It wasn't enough to have one of the biggest typhoons to hit land in recorded weather history. Overnight, they had a 4.6 magnitude earthquake.)

Had our first snow last night ~ just a light ground cover ~ now the sun's shining but it's down in the 20Fs!

25 degrees, snow on the ground, the Holiday Season is in the Air! Life is good here on the Farm!

It is sad that a young man slipped and fell on icy rocks at Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, falling 70 feet to his death. The Free Press said he was trying to gather firewood near where they were camping, near the top of a waterfall. At least this death sounds like an accident, unlike the last one at Pictured Rocks that I remember hearing about.

This afternoon, it looks on the Tech web cams like the wind was blowing so hard across the Ripley ski hills, that it was blowing the snow off the western slopes. My son did not understand what I was saying until he saw it for himself while he was walking back to his apartment from the Tech campus, and then he fully agreed. They have been making snow like crazy the last couple of days on Ripley.
