On her way into town from her Brimley area home, Brenda Leigh stopped by a friend's farm to snap a few pictures of the critters that live there.

It was perfect timing, because the resident goats were outside eating by the chicken coup and they were more than willing to pose for a few shots. Actually, the one in the last photo was willing to do more than pose. She wanted to get right into the vehicle with Brenda, who said this goat was surprisingly strong and gave her a good struggle trying to keep that critter out of there. Reason being…Brenda had a bag of oatmeal on the seat of her car, so that goat could see it or smell it and she wanted to have oatmeal for lunch.

I have to say, that's some real photography talent there, fending off a hungry goat, while snapping photos at the same time. Thanks for going the extra mile, Brenda, risking life and limb for a good shot! ;-)

FOOTNOTE: Yesterday's shots from Joe Kirkish were really some beauties. If you missed them, just click here: Friday, Nov. 15, to take a look at them!

Nice goats, Billy!

Billy Goat's Gruff. Michelle had Pygmy goats when she was little. Amusing little things, except for chewing on the horses tails!

Next to horses, I always wanted goats ~ would've been great for keeping our fields 'mowed'.:>

Now you did it! You made me miss our "Little Bud". My daughter had a pygmy goat years ago. Goats are such sweet and fun pets and when the goat got sick and died all within 24 hours,we were heartbroken. We stll miss that little guy. The pictures really are great though.

Those goats are kind of cute.

The chickens were staging a revolt ("coup de poulet" — c.f.
"coup d'état") at the chicken coop? :-)

Or perhaps I should have writ: "coup du poulailler" ("chicken coop coup")? ;-)
