Good Morning from mid-Michigan, where it is supposed to be just about a perfect day in the neighborhood, with a high of 73 and sunny skies. It really doesn't get any better than this, weather-wise, not too hot and not too cold, sunshine and blue skies. Even Goldilocks would love today. :-) Today and tomorrow will be great days for viewing the autumn color in Copper Country.
Copper Country will be really busy this weekend, since it is Michigan Tech's Family Weekend, near peak color, and not to mention the Tech-Northern football game for the Miners' Cup. Go Huskies! I saw the traffic increasing on US 41 by the Tech campus on the campus web cams, starting late yesterday afternoon. Imagine the traffic jams on the Covered Road to Copper Harbor and Lakeshore Drive/M-26 to the Jam Pot. I have been at the Jam Pot in the summer when it was so crowded that you really needed a number even to get into the shop. My son and some of his friends are talking about going to the Jam Pot tomorrow morning, since this is one of the last weekends it will be open until next spring.
Happy Friday to all. Enjoy this wonderful weather while we still have it. The real fall weather may be starting as early as Sunday or Monday.

2001...I hope I get to witness that scene someday, but only if the IRS pushes extensions into November. :-)

Not in my area, Marianne ~ looks like summer may be reappearing this weekend. Much warmer!

OMGosh!! What great colors! They're so bright and crisp. I love them!
Hope you had a great Friday since I didn't get on here yesterday!
