Sally Beaudette, along with her husband, Ron, recently headed out on a road trip to Copper Harbor, so they could show their grandsons the beauty of Fall in the Keweenaw. The boys enjoyed the ride and especially had fun at the stops they made along the way. Like in the top photo, where they were able to check out all the critters carved out of wood.
A quick stop in Lac La Belle to snap a shot of the colors across the lake and they were back on the winding road to the Copper Harbor, encountering beauty around every curve.
No color tour to the Harbor is complete, without a drive up Brockway Mountain. In Sally's last photo, her grandsons are checking out the town below them, from the first lookout on the climb up the mountain. Even as young as they are, the scene from up there has them mesmerized.
Nice job on the photos, Sally and an even better job on helping your grandkids appreciate the beauty of the Keweenaw.
