Good morning! Opening of duck season has clear, blue skies. I'm sure the ducks are loving it!

So that's where our 'clear, blue skies' went ~ got rain this morning. But we needed it.

BTW, did anyone see the Harvest Moon on the Duluth channel cam last night? It was beautiful ~ shining on a ship at anchor on the Lake.

Fall is definitely here. For a couple days now I have been watching large flocks of Snow Geese flying south. Neighbor guy has been doing target practice scaring deer closer to our home. The fall cool temps have the horses very frisky, and last night Brimley's last walk a Owl was perched on a fence post about 40 ft. from our house. Life is good on our Farm!

Got six cord of wood, stacked and ready for next winter. Last year's wood is stacked in the garage and aged. Got a fire going and it feels great on this chilly, last day of summer. Looks like we might have an Indian Summer this week. One thing about wood in the UP; "If you think you have enough wood, double it."
