Melanie Hakala Rossi would like to introduce us all to her brother's fancy rooster, Flopsy. She says he's a Buff Lace Polish Rooster and is quite the character going on adventures each day by flying out of the coop, into the trees, but he always comes back to the coop at the end of the day.
Melanie captured one of his adventures the other day, when he moseyed on over to check out the cows and then quickly high-tailed it back when he saw he was outnumbered and they weren't smiling.
Flopsy is getting well known in his own neighborhood, according to Melanie and now after appearing on the Pasty Cam, he'll be downright famous. I hope he doesn't get too big a head with all this attention. ;->

Only Flopsy's hairdresser knows for sure.;> Love chickens (all kinds) and cows ~ we had both when I was a child. Thanks, Melanie!

I love the barnyard animals photos. Somehow, I always thought of Flopsy as being a bunny's name, not a chicken (or a rooster). :-)

Cutest thing I have ever seen. Flopsy looks like a great pet.
