I thought this would be the perfect way to say so long to summer for 2013 today and welcome in fall, tomorrow. Robert C. Wetton sent us this shot, saying it was just another beautiful evening in Bootjack. I'd have to agree with him, since it looks so quiet, peaceful and serene.

This is one of those times that I wish I could jump through the computer screen and be there in one of several chairs I can see or sitting on one of the docks, maybe even dangling my feet in the water.

Ahhh…. OK, bring on fall now. :->

A note to all who order from Pasty Central on a regular basis: The long Summer break for pasty deliveries is over :o) This September has seen our longest delay in re-starting shipments from Calumet, because of the lingering heat of the summer across so much of the nation. Looking at the national forecast for the coming week (the first week of Autumn) it looks like ideal pasty-shipping weather is returning.
