Marsha Galbraith and her husband, Gary made the hike in to check out the Ogemaw Falls, located just south of L'Anse on the Baraga Plains Road. I've never been to that one myself, so it's neat to get a glimpse of it on here. It says that it's a short walk in to the falls, but also lists it as a "difficult hike", so I'm not sure what the terrain is like. Perhaps Marsha can chime in with more information on the difficulty level of getting a firsthand look at this stop.

The last photo here today, is the view from Marsha's front window, looking out at the sky over Keweenaw Bay. I thought it was a very fitting photo to post, as we remember the people who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks back in 2001. Please take a moment today and remember them and their families.

Mary, I had the same thought about the last photo ~ remembering that terrible day and all the lives lost.

I didn't say it was a difficult hike, did I? I did it in Birkenstocks! No problem. Just a short walk. I'd be cautious near the edge though, because the ground seemed a little boggy.
