Good Morning. Nice photos this morning. I especially like the waterfall photo, 2009. I am not familiar with those falls. Where are they? Are they reasonably accessible, without a long hike?

Every time I see the Jackson I think of my brother in law Ray DuTemple from Hubbell. He was the Steward on it.

Mikie...I heard about the water main break at 12 & Woodward, hope it was not an inconvenience and glad it happened after the Dream Cruise.
Were you drilling for oil again ? :-)

My son in law, is the guy who fixed it. Ken Ozanich works hard and just finished. Tomorrow they will pour the cement and then put on the macadam. Another dry well Alex.

I'm so glad to see notes of Dan's photos. And of the sad passing of such a grand talent he had. I usually can pick out his work before I see the credits. We have so many other great photographers now...Mike. Jon, several ladies I can't name off hand out right now. But I can spot them when the pictures show up on Pasty. How fortunate to be able to appreciate the work. I have been taking picture since my first Brownie camera of 19-- (age 12) And thank goodness my mother was the same way back in 193-, love the ones marked "baby Kay in Lake Michigan with daddy"!!! (giggle) Can't get enough pics! Thanks everyone!

I think some of you might be interested in this story on Cornish Pasties, what they have to be, etc:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2397318/Critics-food-festival-Brittany-hail-Cornish-pasty-Trevithick-revelation.html

From the photo, the outside looks more like a bread that rose at least a little, than the pastry here that seems to be more like a pie crust here in Michigan.

Hi Marianne ~

A bit late, but here's some info about the falls: http://www.gowaterfalling.com/waterfalls/manabezho.shtml

Its in the Porcupine Mountains State Park.
