Good morning! 2010 is a great photograph! But I love the push mower and the damselfly. I love the way people use those push mowers as decorations in their yards. Very attractive next to an old wheelbarrow or something!!

my better half (aunt Vicki) and I are headed to Boston, Cape Cod and up the coast to Maine this week. I have to see if the Atlantic seafood is as good as lake superior whitefish and trout, lol

When my husband was a boy he would use a push-mower to cut yards in his neighborhood to make a little pocket money. Now kids have power-mowers or riding mowers ~ IF you can get them to cut grass anymore, that is.:]

On a sad note, Frances Hunter, (Franinga) I think was her pasty name, passed away on August 8. I don't know what she passed from, but I know she's been suffering a lot from arthritis and other ailments in the past few years. I hadn't heard from her for a while and I was wondering if something had happened. Liz sent us the obituary from the Daily Mining Gazette. she was a wonderful woman, and originally from Dollar Bay I think. I will miss her.

Oh this is sad. Her husband passed away several years ago. Now they are together again in God's hands in Heaven. My condolences to Fran's family.

I just went back a few years and saw that she was Fran in GA (Francesinga). Yes, her husband Hal had a fall, I believe. She has a son who lived with her who had needed help, but was doing okay as of late. I'm so sad for him. He seemed to be a wonderful young man with a huge heart who loved his mother dearly.

I went to $ Bay HS with Fran. We graduated in 1957. Our graduating class was the largest class up to that time. 34 graduates. When Hal fell, he was on Coumadin at the time, and bled to death before help could get there. Very sad. Prayers for the family.

Lucky you to have known her personally, Ken. She was just so loving and caring. She'll be missed!

My sympathy to Fran's son. I hope he is well enough to get by on his own now.

Our Pasty Cam family will miss Fran, too...she often posted and reminisced about the area, having grown UP here. RIP, Fran...
