Wet weather predicted for my area later. Really been a 'drippy' Summer.:<

Good evening from Lake Linden. I've been so busy that I haven't even gotten on here since being in the Copper Country.

On Sunday we took the family to Eagle River for a picnic. It was VERY cold, but we were determined to have a picnic on the beach and that's exactly what we did. We stayed there for quite a while and then went 8 miles down the road to Eagle Harbor where it was much warmer in the contained harbor there. The kids went in the water (not me) and they had a blast playing in the sand.

And it's already Wednesday. Today we took another drive up that way and totally enjoyed the serenity of the big lake, watching the waves and a freighter going by. Ate blueberries and sugar plums at Esrey Park while climbing the rocks and getting some pictures. I just never tire of the M-26 trip. Who needs Route 66 when you have M-26???
