Brita Haapala said that after the recent rains we've had, the drain near the Fulton Church has a hard time keeping up, so a BIG puddle always forms there. When her son spotted that puddle, he went back home, put on his swimming suit, hollered to his mom (Brita) what he was up to and took off for the puddle on his bike. Brita couldn't resist following him with her camera and the result was today's great shots of her son having a blast spraying water all around as he pedaled through the puddle.

Now, how fun is that? And he was smart enough to change into something that mom wouldn't mind if he got himself soaked in. I love the smile of pure joy in that last photo... happy with his endeavor, standing ankle deep in the puddle. Good old fashioned fun that doesn't cost a dime!

Now that boy knows how to have FUN!!

Buzzing water puddles on my bicycle was one of my many fun times as a kid...I still do that today but on my ATV!

Oh what fun. Who can resist a nice big puddle when on a bike? I can't !lol

Great shots as always, Brita! Brings back great memories of the pure fun of being a kid. At Bass Lake near Iron Mountain, there was a steep hill with a gravel road that went right down to the water. We'd bomb down the hill, then launch over the handlebars when the bike hit the water.
