I was not one of the many who apparently slept in this morning; I actually came to work, even though I could have had the day off. But, by making the sacrifice to extract my sorry self out of bed at 4 am, I get 8 hrs. of vacation time to use later this month.

Down to 15 days, but who's counting?? ;-)

Back from the big city lights of Marquette. What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July. Hope you all had a great holiday.

A bit toasty today in Ontonagon, getting southwest winds. The warmth is welcome, especially for the tomatoes and peppers in the garden. Have seen Yoopers put old tires around their tomato and pepper plants to keep them warm. Another good use for old tires. :)

Still not sick of Vollwerth hotdogs, having more today. Best hotdog ever!
