Where do the days go? It's the end of the month again and it seems like it was just the 4th of July yesterday. Our long standing tradition here at the Pasty Cam, is to take this last day of the month and honor the memory of those that have gone on before us. This month we remember:

Remembering family members who have gone on before me. And remembering my Tippy who passed on last July 28. Our other kitty still goes out and sleeps on his grave. It's heartbreaking :-(

As mentioned last week, remembering my Mom & Grandma who went Home many years ago in July.

Also remembering Aunt Helen, who was always full of practical jokes and a great Mom to her 4 boys, who passed away this month. Now she's Home with Uncle Ed.

Loving thoughts go out to my friend of 52 years, Ann, with her loss of her beloved dog Lucky, who she released this week to pain free romping of the fields of Heaven.

Remembering a beloved 'Boatnerd Friend' who left our midst 6 years ago this month ~ we miss you, Judy Kurnik!
As always, missing all my loved ones who left us much too soon.

It is so hard to always be saying goodbye, isn't it?I guess we have to remember...they have not gone away...but gone ahead.....

Remembering my mom, Jean, who passed suddenly last December 29, just 6 days shy of her 89th birthday. And, my dear yellow lab, Charlie Mae who is gone 6 years now as of July 27th. Seems like yesterday, still...... They both LOVED trips to the UP and especially the Keeweenaw. Kept the record of 23 consecutive years! The dogs all love those trips which will never be quite the same without "Grandma".

Remembering our friend Paavo Hilska of West Ishpening, who died on May 31, 2013. He was our Finnish vocalist with the Kilpela and Friends Polka Band. We missed him singing at the Aura Jamboree.
