Great review today ~ the 2012 picture of the falls is fantastic! One of the best of that particular falls.

Good morning, all. Great slideshow this morning. I need to visit Manabezho Falls sometime. Love that shot of Witz Marina, too; brings back memories.

Hi everybody. Hey Capt Paul - it could be worse: it could be one or more tank cars derailed, rolled over on their sides! (Just trying to bring out the bright side.)

When we lived in Lake Jackson, TX, I lived in fear that a train would derail in front of our house. (Also, they liked to play what we called "bump cars", ie, dropping off and picking up cars that were on the side track, at 3 AM! Other than that, we had an awesome home down there. :-)

So, Capt, what does the scene look like now? Any improvement?

We were thinking the same thing Marianne!!! We had always said some fool would play Frogger trying to beat the train and end up derailing the train at that crossing with a load of some chemical i can't pronounce!!

When I left at 3:15, the train had been moved but it had completely obliterated the crossing. We're hearing it won't be repaired until maybe Monday because they appears to be rail damage.
