Pretty cool that the camp was established at a time when people needed to be reminded of God's faithfulness so much.

I see my eyes are getting older along with the rest of me. That 1930 was awfully hard to see, lol. Loved Frederick's clouds!!!

Have a great Monday, everybody!

Two years before I was born 1930. I know several people from this area that spent time at that camp

Too bad there aren't more camps like that around the country nowadays.

Had another rare sight this morning. Saw the female gray
fox, "Foxie Loxie" eating corn again by the maple tree. She was there for at least 15 minutes. All of a sudden we see another fox, probably the husband, "Foxie Moxie", who ran over to her and started licking her face. It was the most beautiful sight we have ever seen. It was like he was telling her, get your butt home and take care of the "kits".

Check it out Yoops; http://www.bear-tracker.com/grayfox.html

Temps are great in Ontonagon, low 60s and no bugs. :)

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Monday, June 17, 2013 - 07:24 pm:

That's a good name for the 'he' fox ~ 'cause it takes a lot of "moxie" to lick her face and then tell her to get home and take care of the "kits".;>
