Good Tuesday morning!!
Although, I would imagine it's not so good for the folks living in Moore, OK this morning.....

Nest sitting, Esrey & Big Traverse beach are my absolute favorites today!!

Hope you all have a great day. Raining here again today for about the 5th day in a row. It sure is green out there, though.

Good morning, all. Yes, Capt., let's keep all those people in Oklahoma in our prayers.

I received a FaceBook notice that a generous ranch owner in Moore, OK. offering their unharmed horse ranch to shelter horses needing homes. I love the U.S.A., when the going gets tough, the tough gets going! Prayers to Oklahoma!

I remember driving through OKC during the 1999 tornadoes that struck the area and the devastation was intense then; debris all over including in the middle of I35 which we had to drive around especially on the north and east sides of OKC. The photos I have been seeing so far from this one appears to be much worse.....

Hi. I really love Esrey Park. That is one of my favorite places in Copper Country! Thank you for the reminder!

My heart goes out to the Oklahomans! I can't watch the coverage of the huge tornado in Moore without tears. I have been through there many times. I saw the huge tornado forming and dropping to the ground on live TV, thanks to the wonders of modern technology. I do have to wonder, though, why the schools there did not build tornado shelters after the May 3, 1999 big tornado that took a very similar path. I do hope they learn this time and build shelters for all of their schools; they have the support of the OK State Board of Education, I think. I heard several families say that they plan to build in ground shelters of their own after this monster. Hugs to them all! I can't even imagine wondering where one of my children is.

Sending prayers to Oklahoma. A terrible disaster.

Also tried to help by sending a donation. You can help too;

"Go online to the Red Cross Web site, www.redcross.org, and click on “Donations.”

Text the word “disaster” to 90999 to automatically donate $10 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund."
