Good morning from MN!! Snow in parts of the state today. WOW!!!

NOthing here yet. I hope you guys didn't get snowed under. :-)

Good morning, Deb and Richard. Was wondering if those of you who live up north were getting any of the May snowstorm I just read about. Weird weather!! Our temp rose to the 80s yesterday!

It was 85 degrees yesterday. But expecting 55 today! Like they say if you don't like todays weather wait til today's changes. Have a sad chore this evening. The best friend of one of my sons has surrcomed to that monster "the big C" at age 50. He's still that wonderful young man I remember years ago. Rest in peace Patrick!

We too have some very sad news to share, Aunt Norma (Vuolle) Aittama passed away this morning, two weeks shy of her 89th Birthday. Huge thanks to sister Norma and Jim & Judy Aittama for being there for her and Uncle Rudy!
Aunt, I hope you're smiling with all your sister's and your brother in heaven! You lived your whole life at home with unc on your own terms right to the end! I know I speak for all, when I say, you are already missed and always will be! R.I.P. aunt, we'll all look after Unc, so try not to worry. We love you!

Uncle Chuck--While speaking with my father on the phone last
night, he told me how distressed his (and your aunt and uncle's)
congregation is about you aunt's death. I remember your aunt and
uncle sitting in the pew behind me when I attended services there.
My dad says the two of them were the life of the pasty making crew
at Bethlehem Lutheran. The pasties that crew makes are my all time
favourite too (with apologies to Charlie--but they are too far away
to be competition to you folks).
