Pronounced LEE'-meh-tuh. The rest of the story: Albin Liimita passed away earlier this month.

I looked, but I couldn't find it anywhere and I didn't know the answer off the top of my head.

Anyway, great slideshow today. Love the pictures by Dan and Brenda's horse :-)

Not only is it a tongue twister, it's spelled incorrectly! Hey, it's a Finnish name, thus no way could it possibly be spelled 'Liimita'!

I've never seen nor heard a loon, Waveaction, but those who have, told me that they're very mournful-sounding....and a bit scary...and since we don't have 'em down here, don't guess I'll ever see one.:<
