Morning!

Good morning from MN!! Lots of snow and ice on the slideshow today. It's still pretty, but I'm ready for spring. Hubby took a spill on our skating rink of a driveway last night. He can't afford to be doing that with his shoulders. Hopefully the sun shines and melts that stuff today!

Deb...A few weeks ago, one of our clients took a spill the same way, he is 93 years old. He said he was lucky because he landed on his head, only 14 stitches.

Well, he cut up his hand and said his shoulder hurt. We'll see how it feels today. After 2 surgeries on each shoulder, he didn't need that. Be careful out there everybody!

Deb, I'm beginning to think this is the winter that won't go away!

I once took a nasty spill while playing hockey and wasn't wearing my little hockey pants; ended up obliterating my tailbone and trust me, you don't want that!!! I couldn't sit, couldn't stand, couldn't walk, couldn't use the facilities or do much else because the pain was just horrific. Now even when I just skate for fun, I always wear the pants even though I get some funny looks on the rink....

Good morning, everyone! Hey, take heart, winter really is almost over. I have delphinium shoots starting to peek up in my garden, though they're under a little bit of new lake effect snow this morning. And, the ice on the Lake Michigan shore in the Muskegon area pretty much went away yesterday. As Mary said on the Cam Notes page, we'll be swatting bugs before we know it.

Deb, hope your hubby recovers quickly. My hubby fell on an iced sidewalk at work one time, breaking his wrist. They carried him to the ER to get it 'set', put it in a cast, then he went right back to work. He said he actually had no pain with it. Tough fellow.;)

Mornin' all. Had last appointment yesterday with the surgeon. Talk about awful winter and so glad when this winter is over. Was injured Sept. 11th and just started to be able to drive recently...5 months!. The longest winter whenever I needed a friend to drive to dr., Rx pick up etc. etc. Gold bless my dear friends and patient neighbors! Now if it just warms up. Of course I'll be the first and loudest to complain when it's hot and humid :) Now I need to help my right hand and arm get back to normal.

Hope the rest of your recovery goes swiftly, Kay. Hey, all of us tend to complain about the weather from time to time....either too hot or too cold.;)
