That's why I watched it, I watched with my mom when I was pretty young before my TomBoy days.

I also watched it with my mom...think I was a teenager then, good old days when TV was worth watching.

I too was a tomboy! I would much rather be outside with a ball, bat and glove playing softball than anything. So much fun. But I did always love to watch the Miss America pageants also :-)

Darn, I missed Shirley Day, Pat's (Gormfrog) birthday and chiming in about being a tomboy. I do remember the name, "Queen for a Day", but I don't remember watching the show.
