Judy Byykkonen recently glanced out her front windows and spotted these three in the field across from her home. It looks like a doe and two young deer accompanying her, making their way through the deep snow. You can see in the photos that the snow is nearly up to their bellies in some places, so the going isn't easy for them this time of year. Hopefully these three will survive what remains of this year's Copper Country winter... warmer days are coming, after all, it is Spring now... at least on the calendar!

The deer look like they are ready for spring and fresh green grass to feed on.

Aren't we all, Janie? Well, maybe not to feed on, but to at least see, lol!

Love pictures of deer!

Nice pics...looks like they could use a pair of doe shoes :-)

Deb, I wouldn't be a true farm girl if I didn't occasionally have a long piece of rye grass rolling in my mouth.

Okay, i'll admit to sucking on grass also, lol!

Beautiful creatures! I haven't seen 'my' deer this winter. They're usually more visible in the Spring, so I may not see them anytime soon 'cause it looks like we may not have a Spring this year. Snowed all day yesterday, all night and still coming down. Thankfully it's not sticking very much.

Deb & Janie, I tried sucking on grass once but didn't like it. lol
