Yes, it's the first day of Spring, but you'd never know it by the amount of snow we still have on the ground here UP North. The two photos today give you an idea of how much, since the first shot, from Bryant Weathers was just taken on Sunday, as he skied along the Maasto Hiito trails in Hancock. Quite the scenic straight stretch of trail here. I like the border of green against the bright white of the snow. The sunshine was a nice addition to Bryant's 12 mile jaunt on his skiis. I bet it made it seem almost like Spring!

The second photo was taken by Joanie Sinkler while snowshoeing in the Ontonagon area. It sure is a pretty scene with the sunshine, white birches and the winding trail through the trees.
