Great slideshow. Chris, from Copper World, was telling us that we really should try to get to Calumet on the first weekend of March to see these dog sled races. She's really peaked our interest in the whole thing. Good job of selling, Chris! We are definitely planning to be there at some point.

I love Brenda's Marquette picture, and Karen's snow tracks. And who wouldn't love the view from Evergreen cemetery. I love that place.

Forgot to add that we got our horrible blizzard last night. I think we have ones and ones of inches, like 3. Believe me, it'll take the snow crew around here at least 2 to 3 days to clean this up. It's pathetic!!! They should be sent to Michigan to learn how to clean up after a REAL storm :-) Those guys do a fantastic job!

Speaking of weather, we 'lucked' out, the ice is not as bad as feared, but won't be venturing out for a while.:( Supposed to reach into the 50s later today.:)

You're right, Deb. The view from the Evergreen Cemetery is great.
This is the first chance I had to check in today. We're in South
Carolina on the Isle of Palms checking out history and getting
together with Yooper cousins in exile in Charleston. It's a pretty
fine place to be in exile.
