Lindsay White and her family don't let any moss grow under their feet, so to speak, since they can usually be found outdoors, enjoying the Keweenaw. It doesn't matter if it's snowing and blowing or sunny and mild, they just enjoy doing things as a family and exploring on snowshoes was on the agenda this day.

I'm not sure exactly what trail this is or where, so you can make it wherever you'd like it to be in your mind. The location isn't what's important. The message here with these pictures today is that parents can buy and give their children all kinds of toys and gadgets, but the most important thing we can give our kids is time. Lindsay and her hubby have that figured out and you can see in the bottom photo, just how much that means to their kids...look at the smiles on their faces.

JT & Alex, I don't think that's either a tongue or a scarf. I think that's reddish-tan fur.

Our big Malamute would walk in our ski tracks if we were moving through deep snow, so hopefully this family's dog was also taking advantage of the snowshoe tracks.
