Thanks to Marilynn Bachorik, we can give you a glimpse of the snowcover that has been hanging around since the last snowy blast a few days ago. The temperatures have stayed on the cold side, so the snowy coverings haven't melted away.

Marilynn's first shot is very Christmassy looking with the holly leaves and berries, dusted with snow. I like how some ice has even formed on the edges, really giving it a cold, winter look.

The second photo was taken at Tahquamenon Falls, according to Marilynn. That's some thick snow weighing down those branches. I imagine one good puff of wind and it might all fall off...either that or some smarty walking ahead of you, pulling on them as you're ready to walk right under. ;->

And her last shot is a treat for the birds that stay with us through the winter. I think that's a crabapple tree branch, with just a dollop of snow holding onto it. The birds must really appreciate getting some fruit like this in the cold of winter...a nice change from the seeds we put out to help them along.

If you celebrate the Christmas Season, I hope you're all ready and not out there with the last minute shoppers, trying to find that "perfect" present for someone. Enjoy your Christmas Eve!

Awesome pictures this morning! When I first started looking at them, I thought for sure it was Brenda at her finest again. But, nope! It was a surprise to NOT see her name there. Very nice pictures, Marilynn. Thanks for sharing them with us.
