You can always count on Keweenaw kids to love being outside, even when the conditions are freezing and blustery, they don't mind. For some adults, the snow does the same thing... it brings out the kid in them and they can't wait to get outside and play in it, too.
Today, though, we just have pictures of the real kids at play in the snow, starting with one from Mary Schmitt, showing her grandson out on the deck just loving the weather. It looks to me like he might be enjoying a taste or two of the snow while he plays, too. Hope he knows about the yellow snow rule. ;->
The second photo comes from my niece, Sarah Drew Butzler, that she snapped of her son while he was outside playing in the snow. She said that he hadn't come inside much at all since the snow began and was loving being outside sledding and playing around.
I know with my own grandkids, they've been coming in after snowy fun, with the rosiest cheeks and full of excitement, chattering away about sledding and the joy of being in the wintry out of doors.
Oh the joys of being a kid. What fun!

Thank God for the snow AND the parents/grandparents that allow these kids to BE kids! God Bless all!

Mary's little grandson looks to be in a precarious position. Now, Sarah's son looks a little safer. Bet they both were ready for a nice warm mug of hot chocolate after their snow-play.

Yes, kids do love the snow. Funny though, you almost never see any pictures of them with a snow shovel in their hands. lol
