If you're looking for a peaceful and slow-paced way to check out what's left of the color here in the Keweenaw, then hop on a horse like Halli Lindley and company did this past weekend. With the cooler temperatures, they had to bundle up a bit, but what a grand way to get outdoors in the fresh air and enjoy your surroundings. That first shot is my favorite, with the leaves carpeting the trail and just enough left in the trees to give you a colorful tunnel effect. Beautiful!

Just like riding a bicycle, Thomas, except one has 2 wheels and the other, 4 legs. I'd rather take my chances on the 4 legs.:)
